Where to Stay in Savanah

I've only visited Savannah twice. The first time, I stayed at a budget-friendly hotel by the river, though I can't recall its name. On my second trip, I was with a larger group, so we opted for a VRBO that was within walking distance to most attractions. While exploring during the day was convenient, the long walk back after a full day of activities and fun was less enjoyable. For my next visit, I plan to stay on or closer to the river where the nightlife is more accessible. I highly recommend staying by the river for the best experience.
